Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you that the 8th edition of the Diploma Program on the Dialogical Generative Perspective and Professional Practice is now open for registration.
This theoretical-practical Diploma presents the dialogical generative perspective and practice, fostering creativity, innovation and the construction of viable and sustainable futures in the face of problems, conflicts and crises.
The dialogical generative perspective focuses on the creative dimensions of human relationality. It considers social spaces in which participants, including professionals, actively contribute and generate a series of creative innovations, resources, and possibilities designed to bring about alternatives and changes in those problematic, conflictual, and challenging relations and circumstances that bring people to consultation. The aim of the perspective is to help clients envisage and build viable futures and new perspectives for themselves, their relationships and their contexts or circumstances.
The full attention and presence of the professional in both the request and the responsiveness of dialogue allow us to discern, participate, and work with these micro processes of creative and emergent moments and generative dialogues in which resources and possibilities unfold, thus providing opportunities for innovation.
Paying attention to the problems, requests and hopes that clients bring to consultation is as fundamentally important as the client’s social ecology and the moment-to-moment dialogue.
The process is ethically and esthetically respectful and responsive. It is guided by generative socioconstructionism, dialogism, and complex system dynamics, starting with the seminal contributions of G. Bateson. (1)
